the fannies difference
We know why you're choosing cloth.
Cloth
diapering is a healthy choice for your baby, a convenient and affordable choice
for you (did you know the average family spends about $2,000-$2,500 on disposable diapers & diapering supplies for one child??), and a gentle, conscientious choice for our planet. Nevermind the fact that there's nothing cuter than a sweet baby bum wrapped up in an adorable cloth diaper (except maybe one that's wrapped in nothing)!

But why should you choose fannies?
Quite simply, we offer a complete selection of cloth diapering products available to cover your baby's bottom needs from birth through potty-learning. We're committed to helping more families feel comfortable using cloth diapers!
A breakdown of all the ways fannies rocks:
- We offer competitive pricing, without the huge environmental costs that come with using disposables.
- For families who want to do their own laundry, we sell a large selection of the most popular and highly-rated diaper covers and other diapering systems, as well as natural, eco-conscious diapering and baby-care supplies, including cloth-friendly laundry detergents and rash creams, and organic body care products for moms and babies.
- Fannies is owned and operated by a work-at-home-mom who won't sell anything she wouldn't use. That's saying a lot, since she currently has two children in cloth diapers (and another on the way!). If a diaper is notorious for holding stink or a detergent only works half the time, you won't find it here.
- We offer FREE cloth diaper consultation and education services. Come to a workshop (third Saturdays at Babyology), or email us with questions.
- We support other local and mom-owned businesses. Several of the companies that supply our variety of cloth diapers and supplies are also run by working moms, several of them working from home, and a few local folks as well.
- We do our best to operate our business in an environmentally responsible manner. While we have a small office space, we're only there for a few hours a week, so utility use is kept at a minimum. Most everything else is done in our smoke-free, pet-free (but not baby- or toddler-free!) home. We don't print receipts for you (check your email for a copy), we use minimal product packaging, and we ship your purchases using biodegradable, reusable mailing materials.
