who are we?
Fannies Diaper Service, LLC, (you can call us fannies) is a mom-owned and -operated business. I'm Stacie Walker, the Mom in Charge. My amazingly supportive husband (I call him Hub) and I live in Louisville, Kentucky, with our two children, both born at home, and both of whom wear cloth diapers. We have a third kiddo on the way and are in the thick of potty-learning with our oldest, so I'm becoming passionate about cloth trainers and will be offering more of those soon. I moonlight as a birth doula, prenatal & postpartum massage therapist, and Lamaze childbirth educator; feel free to check out my (other) website if you want to know more about that part of my life. I love to help new and expectant parents in their transition to parenthood, and fannies is an exciting extension of that effort.
In a former life, I earned a fancy graduate degree, taught college theatre and English, and worked in academic administration for a number of years. This basically means that I have very expressive eyebrows and use a lot of gestures when I talk, and I'm a wee bit obsessed with all things related to spelling and grammar; if you see a mistake on my site, please so I can correct it and avoid further embarrassment.
